Dr. MaKayla Olsen, PT, DPT

MaKayla is originally from Dakota Dunes, SD. She received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD in 2014. She then went to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from University of Jamestown in Fargo, ND in May 2017. MaKayla is passionate about helping people reach their goals and getting back to things they love doing. She has always appreciated the quality of time that she is able to spend with each patient and creating an individualized plan. MaKayla specializes in pelvic floor therapy, but also enjoys seeing a wide variety of patients. She is also certified in trigger point dry needling. She utilizes a functional and hands on approach to her treatment. She met her husband, Elliott, while in school. After they graduated they moved to St. Cloud for 4 years until moving back to Elliott’s home town, East Bethel, fall of 2021. They have a golden doodle, Mya; son, Calvin; and daughter, Stella. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and running.
