While we are still in July, fall sports are right around the corner. Now, more than ever, athletes are competing year-round. The drive to improve leaves little time to recover. Summers are full of college showcases, week-long camps, and weekend tournaments. These are in addition to the strength and conditioning programs and regular training done on a weekly basis. During these, athletes can pick up injuries that can linger if not properly addressed. We see this commonly in the Physical Therapy field, where an issue starts out as small, then builds up into something that prevents full participation halfway into the season.
Right now is the time to get Physical therapy, to eliminate any nagging injuries that you may have picked up over the summer. Most insurances do not require a physician referral. Let’s make sure you start your season on the right direction.
