Physical Therapist
Mark has been involved in physical therapy since 1971. He was a physical therapy technician for the US Air Force during Vietnam and attended several colleges and universities including Southern Baptist, Park College, and graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1979. Mark's greatest challenge and enjoyment in life is to help people reach goals that they didn't think could be achieved. He really enjoys his bird, kids, and being happily married. Mark's other interests include putzing around the house, gardening, landscaping, remodeling, and exotic travel to beautiful countries.

Amy has worked for PTC since 1998 and still finds her work very challenging. She has been in the medical field for 20 years working in various administrative and business office settings. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends sitting by the pool or working in the yard. Amy also has been filling her time with various college classes at Anoka Ramsey Community College.

Cari Adams

Cari joined the PTC practice in 2006. She has extensive business office experience as well as a background in the medical field. She really enjoys her job and its many challenges. Cari lives in St. Francis with her husband Jason, son Zach, daughter Mariah and their dog Otis. In her free time Cari enoys traveling, four-wheeling, and going up north to the cabin. She also enoys reading, gardening, and once in awhile having some time alone.

Shannon Naylon

After spending 20 years working as a human resource director in various industries, Shannon decided it was time for a change! She was led to medical billing through a variety of skill and personality testing where it was decided this industry would be a good fit. After completing schooling she was hired by Physical Therapy Consultants to work in the billing department. Shannon is married and has one son who is 21. She enjoys hiking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, swimming and reading. She especially enjoys walking her dogs, an Australian Shepherd named Ivan and a Border Collie mix named Atka.

Blake Butler, PT

Blake graduated from The College of St. Scholastica in February, 1998 with an M.A. degree in Physical Therapy. He has worked in a wide variety of therapy settings over the past 11 years with the majority of this time spent in outpatient orthopedics (including the last 6 years at St. Francis Physical Therapy). Blake loves working with the student athletes from the area and also developed and ran a speed development program for a group of youth North Metro soccer players over the winter (08-09). Blake is happily married to his best friend, Laura, and has 3 beautiful children (zoe, Brevin, and Oscar) with another due in September 2009. Recreationally he enjoys being a human jungle-gym for his kids, softball, golf, running, and last year started competing in sprint-distance triathlons.

Dustin received his B.S. degree in Athletic Training from North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND and his M.A. degree in Physical Education/Athletic Training from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, MI. During his two years in Kalamazoo he was a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Kalamazoo College. Dustin provides the secondary school outreach athletic training services for St. Francis High School. He enjoys helping the physically acitve accomplish their athletic goals by working to prevent injuries and by evaluating and rehabilitating individuals to a safe return to activity when injuries occur. He enjoys playing and watching a wide variety of sports and spending time with his beautiful wife, Amber, and son, Landon.

Susel Garcia attended Florida International University in Miami, Florida where she received her Bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine in 2004. She continued her education and later graduated with her Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2007, She is a relatively new graduate and has had previous experience in orthopedic and sports injuries. Before joining the team, she worked in a privately owned outpatient rehabilitation center treating patients with different diagnoses. When she is not working, Susel likes to participate in many recreational activities, some including working on her scrapbooks and spending time with her family and new husband.

Renee received her B.S. in kinesiology from the University of Minnesota in 2003 and continued on at the University of Minnesota in the Program of Physical Therapy. Renee graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree in June 2007. Her experience prior to joining Andover Physical Therapy in March 2009 had been in long term care and transitional care. Renee is excited to join the team in Andover in providing excellent rehabilitation for various orthopedic impairments. When she is not working, her hobbies include spending time outdoors, playing volleyball, reading, playing the piano, watching movies, or just relaxing at home with her husband, two cats, and her young daughter.

In his free time he enjoys rock climbing at Taylor's Falls and the beautiful north shore, especially Shovel Point. When not dangling from cliffs, he likes to play tennis, hockey, and lift weights. He is the self proclaimed "king of cribbage" and has found a new hobby of collecting cribbage boards.

Gary has been in the physical therapy field for over 10 years with experience in home health, acute care, long-term care and outpatient physical therapy. He has a special interest in orthopedics. Gary was a certified ski instructor for 30 years and has coached downhill ski racing and hockey in the past. He was the Junior Varsity coach for Champlin Park for the past 4 years. He is now coaching downhill ski racing again at Trollhaugen Ski Area. Gary and his wife of 25 years live in Coon Rapids and have a son who just completed his first year of college.

Kerra graduated from Anoka-Ramsey Community College in 2008 and received her license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has worked in out-patient care, focusing on aquatic therapy. She is hoping to specialize in aquatic rehabilitation in a few years. Kerra became interested in physical therapy when she was 15 years old and received PT after her 4 knee surgeries in the past 9 years. Just recently she married in June 2009. Kerra enjoys spending time with her husband working on their house. She also does a lot of walking, biking and playing with her 2 dogs, Mason (black lab) and Stella (boxer).

Vivian is a PTA at Andover Physical Therapy. She graduated from Anoka-Hennepin Technical College in 2000. She has been in the Physical Therapy field for 15+ years. Vivian has been interested in Physical Therapy since she was a child having a sister with mild Cerebral Palsy. She enjoyed doing her therapy treatments with her and helped her sister with exercises at home. She enjoys the creativity that the profession brings and feels gratification in what she does. Vivian lives in Roseville with her boyfriend Dan and two English bulldogs, Rigby and Zoe. Vivian is originally from Denver, Colorado, but has family from Belgium and has family living there and is able to visit overseas frequently. She speaks fluent French. When she isn't at work, she enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling.

When scheduling appointments, Emily knows how important your schedule is and will do her best to accommodate you and your time preferences...and yes, we do have early morning and evening appointments available! Outside of work Emily enjoys spending time with her husband, Ryan, and 2 kidlings, Remy and Rylee. Emily absolutely loves the summertime and looks forward to camping, bonfires, gardening, grilling-out, walks, bike rides, fishing, and pretty much anything that has to do with being near or in water! During those long winter months Emily loves scrapbooking, sewing, and interior decorating.
